Wood Selection: The process begins with the selection of high-quality hardwood, such as mango woods. These woods are preferred for their durability and ability to hold intricate carvings.

Wood Carving: Artisans then begin the intricate wood carving process. They use various hand tools, including chisels, gouges, and mallets, to create the detailed designs and patterns on the wooden surface. The level of detail and precision in carving is a hallmark of Saharanpur woodwork.
